Ahlan Tournaments End In Kano With FA Chairmen, Stakeholders In Attendance

Kano  again was the centre of attraction over the weekend as football top notches in the land converged in the ancient city of Kano to witness  activities of the State’s  FA in a bid  to further promote round leather game at grassroot level in the state.

NFF executive board members, FA  Chairmen ,Congress men and women alongside powerful stakeholders were all present to mark the opening and closing ceremony of various grassroot football competitions sponsored by Kano FA Chairman, Sharif Rabi’u Inuwa Ahlan who also double as NFF elective board member.

The tone was set on Friday, 5th of August with the opening ceremony of Ahlan Unity Cup as SKY WRECA FC traded takles with CLEVER WARRIORS at  Sani Abacha Stadium while the closing ceremony of Ahlan League II also took place on Saturday at the same venue.

Furthermore, the Ahlan League l opening ceremony got underway on Sunday as SEASON STARS slugged it out  with  PILLO BOYS

The Ahlan League II closing match  between GWAMMAJA U15 and R/LEMO BOYS at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Monday, the  8th of August is expected to mark  the end  of the four days  gathering of  “Crème de la Crème” of Nigeria Football.

Notable dignitaries at the events  includes, Chairman of Chairmen and NFF executive board member, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau, NFF’s Technical Committee Chairman who also double as Niger FA Chairman, Alh. Ahmed Yusuf Fresh,  Alh. Babagana Kalli, the Chairman, Match Commissioner’s Appointment Committee who is  also the Chairman of Borno FA and NLO Chairman, Alh. Muhammad Alkali who serves as Nassarawa State FA Chairman.

Others include, the  Taraba FA Chairman, Timothy Heman, Sabo Abdullahi Dutse of Jigawa, Abba Muktar of the FCT, Sunday Longbap of Plateau, Patrick Pascal of Bauchi, Nasiru Sa’id of Sokoto and Hon. Margret Icheen of Benue  respectively.
