Katsina State Police Command To Collaborate With SWAN

Katsina State Police Command has affirmed commitment to collaborate with the state chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN in promoting Sporting activities

The Commissioner Of Police C.P Idris Dauda Dabban gave the assurance when he received members of the Association on a courtesy Visit

The Commissioner who expressed the command’s appreciation over the visit, assured to support the Association to achieve it set objectives

C.P Dauda Dabban stressed the relevance of participating in sports saying that sports contribute greatly in improving the Health care of people

He assured the readiness of the command to participate in the upcoming security peace and Unity Football Competition to be organized by the State Chapter of SWAN

Chairman Katsina State SWAN Mr Nasir Sani Gide explained that the visit was to introduce the officials and members of the Association and to brief the Commissioner on the activities of the Association

Mr Gide added that the visit was also meant to intimate the Police Commissioner on the plans of the Association to Organize a Maiden Security Peace and Unity Football Competition in the state in which the Nigeria Police will be among the participating Teams

The SWAN Chairman pointed out that Organizing the Competition would pave way for more Unity and Understanding beside enhancing Cordial Working relationship among the various security agencies operating in the state.
