Former African Boxing Union (ABU) Heavyweight Champion, Coach Ngozika Ekwelum is down with cancerous prostrate, other health complications.

Coach Ngozika Ekwelum, who excelled among his contemporaries in the entire Africa and Europe heavyweight competitions cannot afford the huge medical bills required for his recovery.
Ekwelum, residing in Awka, the Anambra State capital, is presently in dare need of resources for quality medicare.
He has spent millions undergoing series of surgeries but still bedridden, urinating blood, with swollen legs, bladder and body pains.
Government, family and friends have abandoned him to ‘rot.’ Even his landlord has thrown him out of their three bedrooms flat due to inability to pay.
