Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State on Sunday felicitated with the Arch Bishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, the Most Rev’d Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, PhD, on his 60th birthday celebration.
Soludo in a massage through his Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime hailed the exemplary leadership the Arch Bishop have provided over the years as an Anglican Prelate and his pious devotion to the service of the Lord.
He said, “Anambra State, Nigeria and indeed, the global community are proud of the exceptional commitment, passionate and visionary leadership you have provided in diligently piloting the affairs of the Church and selfless service to humanity over the years.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Anambra State, I congratulate you most warmly and also deeply appreciate the support you have provided to my administration in our journey towards building a liveable and prosperous homeland.
“Therefore, as you celebrate this landmark occasion of your Diamond Jubilee and other fourfold celebrations , I pray that God will grant you grace, good health, long life and more wisdom in the years ahead.”
Bishop Ibezim also celebrated three years of Archiepiscopacy, twelve years episcopacy, twenty years of marriage and thirty eight years of service in God’s vineyard.
