A scholar in the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Cecilia Eme has volunteered and translated the Probiotic Infographics into Igbo Language. This effort in Igbo translation is making it the first African Language to be included among other world major languages that Probiotic Infographics has been translated into.
The scholar participating in ISAPP which is an association of academic from all works of life involved in basic and applied research on probiotics and prebiotics have a common interest in generating high-quality scientific information for the probiotic and prebiotic fields and providing guidance for collaborative and multidisciplinary research.
According to reports, ISAPP is the only research and scientific organization explicitly dedicated to probiotics and prebiotics, bringing together researchers from all pertinent disciplines, including humanities, social science, medicine, animal science, natural science, engineering and technology.
The organization raises the scientific credibility of the field by working with experts, conducting meetings, and facilitating high-quality research.
As a scientific society, ISAPP focuses on advancing science rather than promoting specific commercial products. ISAPP activities also benefit users of probiotic and prebiotic products by providing an objective, science-based voice that they can trust to help guide informed choices.
