The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, ANFASSC under the leadership of Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi has showered praises on the Nigeria Under 23 male team, as well as the Under 17 Women’s team.

Over the weekend, the Olympic Eagles recorded a 2-0 win over Tanzania at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan to qualify 3-1 on aggregate for the next round of the Africa Under 23 Cup of Nations.

The Flamingos also survived a scare by beating Germany 3-2 on penalties in the third place game of the just concluded FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in India.

The President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi said it was a good way to begin the reign of the new President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

He said “I’m most delighted for the NFF President, it’s a good omen, the Flamingos have given him something to hold on to, and we can build on that in subsequent engagement”

He urged the Olympic Eagles to stay committed, adding that the job is not done yet until qualification ticket is sealed.

The ANFASSC supremo praised the two national teams and assured that his supporters club will continue to give all national teams the necessary support.
