Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has congratulated former Military President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on the occasion of his 81st birthday.
Soludo’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Anatune.
He said that as a former Military President and an Army General, now retired, attaining the age of 81 years is deserving of celebration and gratitude to God.
The Governor said, “As the erstwhile Military President of Nigeria and an elder statesman, i heartily congratulate you on this milestone achievement of attaining the age of 81 years.
“On behalf of my family, the government and good people of Anambra state, I wish you the very best on your 81st birthday.”
General Ibrahim Babangida, a retired Nigerian Military General, served as Military President from 1985 until his resignation in 1993.
