Rangers International got their 2022 Tico/Select Preseason Tournament underway in brilliant form following an emphatic 3-0 thumping of debutants, A&A KIV FA of Lagos at the Legacy pitch, Enugu, Thursday morning, Sports Pathfinder.com reports.

The Flying Antelopes went in front just past the half hour mark when Julius Ikechukwu fired in the opening goal to hand the seven time Nigerian champions a first half lead.

The Eko Boys were yet to haul themselves back into the game in the second period when new recruit and ex Dakkada dazzler, Sunday Inemesit, doubled his team’s advantage.

Despite a huge 2-0 advance, the Flying Antelopes refused to pull their legs off the pedal.

Their sustained pressure yielded further dividends eight (8) minutes past the hour mark when Chidera Eze fired in the third.

The result ensured the NPFL side took a commanding lead of the group B with three (3) points after Lamry and FC Golden United Academy settled for a 1-1 draw in the second fixture.
