Chuks Agu, Managing Director and Chief Rxecutive Officer, CEO of Enugu State Housing Corpiration, was on Thursday unveiled by the Organisers of the annual Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament as a Co-Sponsor of the 4th edition of the tournament holding in Asaba and Enugu, Newspathfinder.com reports.
The unveiling event highlights efforts by the organiser to add more glamour to the 4th edition of the event in their push for quality and excellence.
As part of their innovations, the organisers have introduced unveiling of co-sponsors, Ambassadors and Legends to the tournament.
Thursday in Enugu, the Organisers presented the Managing Director, CEO of Enugu State Housing Corporation, Hon. Chuks Agu to fans and members of the sporting press during a colourful unveiling ceremony in Enugu.
Agu is also a strong supporter of Lamry FC, a third tier domestic football league side in Enugu.
Similarly, the Chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Area Mr Chukwudi Ozoeluba and Country Agent Morethansport Ltd, Dr Nnaemeka Udeani, also took their turn for unveiling ahead the 2022 Tico/Select Preseason Football Tournament billed to get underway in Enugu and Asaba on October 20.
Former Nigeria international and ex Polonia Warsaw of Poland midfielder, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, who is Africa representative of Tico and Select Sportswear manufacturers, thanked the unveiled for their support and encouragement.
Responding, the MD, Enugu state Housing Corporation, Hon Chuks Agu commended Ekwueme for his efforts in grassroots development.
He assured him of his total support in his drive to make the annual Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament a national household name.
