UNIZIK Set To Hold 11th Chief Dr. Ogbalu Lecture Series

All is now set for the 11th edition of the Chief Dr. F. Ogbalu Lecture Series to be hosted by the Faculty of Art, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.

The lecture series dedicated to a scholar of repute and promoter of the Igbo language, traditional values and cultural heritage of the Igbo race is expected to hold on Tuesday, 24th January 2023 at the University Auditorium with the theme: “NCHEKWABA NA AKUNAUBA NAIJIRIA: ALA IGBO DI KA IHE NLERE ANYA”

The upcoming lecture series under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment, Mr. Don Nduka Onyenji will have its Chief Guest of Honour as the Executive Governor of Anambra State,  Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

The Guest Lecturer is a Professor of Igbo Language and a member of the 9th Governing Council of the University, Prof. Nkechinyere Nwokoye; Special Guest of Honour and benefactor for the occasion is Chief Sir Ikenna Okafor.

Chief Host is UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone, and Host is the Dean, Faculty of Art, Prof. Greg Obiamalu.
