The Police are in a meeting with the management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Other stakeholders are also in attendance.

The meeting is aimed to address the recent stealing, burglaries and cult-related violence in some of the hostels along Ifite.

It will be recalled that students of the institution had planned a peaceful protest where they will march to the government House to seek government attention.

According to their flier, the peaceful walk was aimed at seeking a possible end to repeated robbery, killing and rape which had suddenly become a regular occurrance in the Ifite area.
