Confederation of Africa football Women’s Champions league bronze winners ,Bayelsa Queens will resume action in the topflight Nigeria women football league,as they host troubled Heartland Queens of Owerri in Yenagoa at the Samson Siasia stadium in match day three of the 2022-2023 season.

The prosperity Queens who are cup holders despite drawing bye in match day two ,are in joint first position in group A with three points and plus goals difference with Delta Queens of Asaba.

Pundits believe coach Domo Okara and his wards who are in fine form will have an easy ride against strugglers Heartland Queens, but it remains to be seen wether coach Benjamin Nwoke of Heartland will allow a 3rd defeat for his side.

Delta Queens of Asaba will also be hoping to consolidate after their first away victory over Heartland ,in a home derby against a resurgent coach Kingsley Esega Royal Queens of Warri at the Asaba Township Stadium.

Naija Ratels will get busy for the 3rd time in the new season, this time against Osun Babes at the Old Parade ground sports complex football pitch,Area 10,Abuja.
Coach Bankole Olowokere knows that a win against Osun who lost 1_2 to Rivers Angels last week will push his ladies to stay in contention for the premier title, while a defeat may further sink coach Yekin Ayodeji’s Osun Babes.

Rivers Angels will see no action this week as they are drawn bye.

In group B, FC Robo still searching for a first win in the new season, have another home tie, this time against high riding Edo Queens who won their last home fixture 4-2 against Confluence Queens of Lokoja at the Samuel Ohbemudia Stadium,Benin City.

Robo Queens tactician and best grassroots women football developer Emmanuel Osahon is certainly under pressure facing Moses Aduku and his feiry squad. The challenge holds at the Legacy Pitch ,national stadium, sports city,Surulere,Lagos.

Coach Christopher Danjuma is already plotting the down fall of Ibom Angels who will be visiting the Aper Aku Stadium ,Makurdi Benue state.

It promises to be a big fight for Nasarawa Amazon’s against Ibom Angels who piped Abia Angels 1-0 in match day two .

Amazon’s are yet to concede a goal in the new season and could count on the strength of their defence and attacking forays to claim victory.

Adamawa Queens who maintained the 2nd spot on the log despite not tasting action last week, they return this week with plenty expected from them as they drag Confluence Queens of Lokoja to the Furore Atiku Abubakar Stadium,Adamawa state.

Confluence Queens appear yet to be settled after suffering the heaviest defeat (4-2) in the hands of Edo Queens ,another defeat in Adamawa may keep them in the murky waters of relegation.

Abia Angels have been drawn bye for match day three.
