Warri Wolves FC again at home picked all three points in the Nigeria National League Match Day 4, Group B Southern Conference.

The Seasiders third match for the season held at the Kwale Township Stadium, Kwale, where Forward, Christain Izuchukwu recorded his second goal of the season when he scored the opener for the host in the 8″ of play with a brilliant finishing right inside the opponent’s box 18 while Okunlola Sodiq, doubled the lead in the 13th minute with a well calculated header.

A solid defence line and goal keeper Joke Elvis made some blockings and notable saves to mentain a clean sheet at home despite pressure from the visitors.

The Seasiders with an early 2 goal advantage curtailed efforts from their visitors to end the first half on that score line.

Ijebu United came out smoking in the second half but all efforts to get something from the encounter prooved abortive as the coach Jolomi Atune led technical side made some strategic substitutions that included Yusuf Kelvin,
Wehere Buchi
Osigwe Ekene and
Ekimini Emmanuel and kept the game their way to ended two nil in favour of the home side.

With the Win, Warri Wolves FC is left with 6 points from three games and on 3rd position in the Conference B log table.

Match day five in the NNL will see the Seasiders be on the road against Crown FC of Ogbomosho, on Saturday 16th of December, 2023.
