The Chief Executive Officer of The Nigerian National League Emmanuel Danjuma Attah has described the demise of the former Secretary of the FCT Football Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi as a great lost to the football fraternity in FCT and Nigeria in general.

Attah who was the FCT FA Chairman between 2005 to 2011, a period when the late Abdullahi served as a Secretary, said “it is a very sad loss. As FCT FA Secretary, he worked with passion and dedication. He was a loyal secretary, who took the interest of FCT Clubs as his topmost priority.

Attah said with “Ibro” as he was fondly called as the Scribe of the FA, FCT FA became the cynosure of all the Football Associations in the country, and they supported FC Abuja ( now EFCC FC ) to get promotion to the NPFL in 2007/2008 Football season.

He prayed that God should grant him rest in his bossom, and the family the fortitude to bear the lost.

Late Ibrahim Abdullahi served the Federal Capital Territory Administration until retirement in 2016.
