The famous Holy Ghost Boys High School, Owerri, football pitch comes alive on Thursday, December 29, 2022, as twin Reverend Fathers use the game of soccer to determine the elder one amongst the twin clergy men.
The tie will be the highpoint of the 2022 edition of the Brethren89 which is being hosted by Brethren89 in Diaspora.
The two-day event will be kicked off with a football match between Team Fr. Martin Okonkwo and Team Fr. Marcel Okonkwo at 4pm.
The twins Reverend Fathers were ordained priests of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu.
Since their junior Seminary days, they have argued who is the older twin amongst them, hence this match is billed to settle the seniority argument once and for all.
It was believed that whoever amongst the twin Reverend fathers that wins the football match will be crowned *Fr. Nke Nnukwu,* as submitted by Stanley Ndukamma, a FIFA Licensed Intermediary, who is also the Prime Minister of Brethren89 in Diaspora.
“We will also witness players like Hon. Barr Onyeka Ikenta, who is the captain of Team Fr. Marcel and Kodili Fortunatus Ekwughalu who is the Captain of Team Fr. Martin”, Ndukanma said.

“Barr Ifeanyi Christian Mbaeri, a FIFA badged referee will be the center referee of the match.
“He has also pledged to be an impartial arbiter during the match.
“Brethren89 Annual General Assembly is a period set aside by Bonus Pastor Seminary 1989 set to gather and renew the Ofu-Obi love that bond them together.
“It is a period of joy and fraternizing with each other. What we are doing today is unique from the previous ones.
“Finally, I want to commend the Brethren89 In Diaspora for making this year’s event a memorable one”, Ndukanma added.
