The Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone, has received a Diamond Merit award.
This award of merit and honour was presented to him by the founding and Pioneer Rector of Saint John Innovation Institute of Management and Technology (JIIMATECH) Neni, Rev. Fr. Francis Michael Enyosiobi who earlier on the 17th of September, 2022, received it on his behalf.
This award to the Vice-Chancellor was a show of gratitude by the Governing board and management of JIIMATECH, Neni, Anambra State.
While handing over the plaque to the iconic Vice-Chancellor at his country home Akwaeze on Monday, 26th December 2022, Rev. Fr Enyosiobi hinted that the diamond award of honour to Prof. Esimone is in recognition of his enormous cum inestimable sacrifices and support towards the establishment, building and existence of JIIMATECH as a great citadel of learning for the youths of Neni, Anaocha LGA and the state at large.
In his response, Prof. Esimone appreciated the award of honour and acknowledged that St. John Innovation Institute of Management and Technology, Neni, is standing as a conspicuous symbol of youth empowerment because of the vision and mission statement of the Institute even as he acknowledged the overwhelming number of youth already positively shuns out into our society.
The scholar further pledged to retain his partnership with the institute and to especially explore the exquisite talents of Fr. Francis Michael Enyosiobi, for the growth, and upliftment of our society.
