APGA Awka North Mourns As Secretary Buries Mother

The leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has condoled its secretary, Chief Amaechi Obiesili, over the demise of his mother, Mrs Pauline Obiesili.

The party leaders, stakeholders and members drawn from all the wards in the LGA were in Umuife village, Urum yesterday to commiserate with him.

Some of the party leaders are: Mr. James Onwuka, LG party chairman; Hon. Lawrence Onwuzuka (Akpaka Achalla), leader of the party; Kenechukwu Nnadimma, State officer; and the Chairman of the LGA, Hon. ThankGod Anago.

Also at the funeral was the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuma Okoye.

Chairman of APGA in Awka North, Onwuka, while speaking on behalf of party, sympathised with his secretary, Obiesili, and his entire family members saying that the party leaders and members were deeply saddened by their loss.

He prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear their irreplaceable loss.
