Ekwueme Square Wears A New Look As Atiku Brings Campaign Train To Anambra

The city of Awka is getting busy as members and supporters of the Residential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar storms the state for campaign.

The venue of the rally, Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka is already wearing a new look even as party members thronged the place in expectation of a good outing..

The Director General of Atiku/Okowa campaign organisation, Prof Obiora Okonkwo who addressed journalists on Wednesday assured of massive mobilisation of members of the party to the event.

Meanwhile, Atiku who is billed to arrive the state any moment will have a stop at the Governor’s lodge at Amawbia for a brief meeting with the state governor, who has been described as a long time political ally of his.

Atiku will also meet traditional rulers, town union leaders, market leaders in separate meeting, before proceeding to Ekwueme square for the rally.
