Anthony Zubby Ingas, President of Ingas FC has disclosed reasons why he has continued to support Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament, Newspathfinder.com reports.

Zubby hinted that this was as a result of his love for the game, stressing that ‘football has a special place in his heart’.

He spoke in Enugu after he was unveiled as co-sponsor of the 2022 edition of the tournament which kicks off on October 20 in Asaba and Enugu.

“It’s part of the support we give to the game”, Ingas, who is fondly called called Zubby said.

“Football has a special place in my,heart, hence I try all the time to give my best”.

Zubby Inas reflects on his feeling being recognised by the organisers this time out.

“Yeah, it feels good. We’ve been participating in the tournament right from its inception.

“It’s an avenue of preparing teams for the coming season.

“Besides, it serves as opportunity for non league players in the non league teams participating in the tournament to be scouted by the ‘big’ league clubs”, the Ingas FC boss stressed.
