Warri Wolves FC forward, Izuchukwu Christain on Sunday during the team’s Match day four encounter against Ijebu United, scored his second goal of the season.

The forward fondly called Izu, who was one of the top scorers for the Seasiders last season, put the Seasiders in front in the eight minute of play when he connected to a long cross from victor, a power force from the wolves defense, notorious for such passes.

His eight minute opener on Sunday against Ijebu United was his second for the season as he had scored the his side’s second goal on match day two when they took on new side Solution Fc.

The former Giant Brillers Player who is on his season with Warri Wolves said he is optimistic the Seasiders will qualify for this year’s Super eight and subsequently get promoted to the nation’s Apex football league, the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

” I am very excited I got to score my second goal yesterday, thanks to my team mates for the support.”

“With the struggle inside box eighteen, I knew I just had to push on and I rightly connected to that cross from Victor straight from the defence, and it was a goal”

“The win was great for the team and am glad I was part of it. I have a personal target of 10 goals for the season with support from my team mates and a coach that believes in me”

” I promise not to disappoint”

Izuchukwu Christian is an attacker who plays more from the wings, he was one of the top scorers for the Seasiders last season in both the FA cup where Warri wolves narrowly lost out of getting to the finals and in the NNL also missing out narrowly on super 8 qualification.
