Two members of Staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka have been appointed into Management positions at two Federal Unversities in Nigeria, Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun Warri, Delta State and University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State.
Prof. Mercy Ifeyinwa Anyaegbu of the Department of Library and Information Science was confirmed as the new substantive University Librarian by the Governing Council of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Warri, Delta State after a rigorous interview session were she came tops amongst other candidates.
The appointment takes effect from 2nd December 2022 and is for a single term of five years. Before her appointment, Prof. Anyaegbu was the Digital Librarian at the UNIZIK Digital Library.
similarly, Dr. Ada Godwin has been appointed as the new substantive Bursar by the Governing Council at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State.
Dr. Godwin hitherto had risen to the rank of a deputy Bursar at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
Dr. Godwin is the wife of the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a Professor of Industrial and Production Engineering, Prof. Harold Godwin.
