Members of the Enyimba FC Fans particularly those from Eziukwu Road Market in Aba have thrown their weight behind the innovative moves of the Club Chairman, Kanu ‘Papilo’Nwankwo to turn it as the greatest in Africa.
Reacting to Enyimba Media shortly after the NPFL match Day 3 encounter between the People’s Elephant and Akwa United in Aba last Sunday, the Coordinator Eziukwu Road Market Traders Fans of the club, Mr Igwe Nwafor “Igwe Ezimata” and his Secretary, Mr Ikechukwu Igbozendu expressed delight at the administrative dexterity of Kanu Nwankwo which they acknowledged has been very professional and has brought back confidence to the fans.
“My brother we are excited especially with the win today against Akwa United and we believe that with the performance of the boys more victories will follow.
“Eziukwu Market Road Traders Fans of Enyimba wish to use this medium to thank His Excellency, the Executive and performing Governor of Abia State (God’s Own State), Mr Alex Otti for his wisdom in appointing ‘Papilo’ as the club Chairman.
“As you can see, the fans are returning to the stands and Kanu Nwankwo’s style has been very professional, like today the orderliness in the manner of ticketing and organization of fans movement from the stadium gate as well as conduct of club officials shows that Kanu Nwankwo is the man to return the glory days for Enyimba.
“As part of our responsibilities, we are solidly behind him to make Enyimba a great club in Africa and that’s why this Sunday we have concluded plans to storm Uyo for the maiden African Football League AFL, quarter final match against Wydad AC of Morocco.
