Oyo state Football Association under the able leadership of Oba Alakinleye of Akinleye, HRM, James Oluyemi Odeniran has officially congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Oluwaseyi Makinde, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, the Management and staff of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on the team’s age long return to continental football.
Oyo F.A helmsman, in a statement, described the Engineer Makinde as a true sports man who walks the talk in the midst of uncertainty.
The former FIFA Badge referee appreciated Governor Makinde’s invaluable support to the management and his relentless efforts” at ensuring the Ibadan Soccer Lords recovered the lost ground in African football.
The astute football administrator used the occasion to extend his congratulatory ambience to the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke whose tenure yielded a good fruit to the entire football fraternity in the state after almost three decades of continental hiatus. The modicum of appreciation also goes to the Management of the five time league champions, ably led by Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami, the fans, journalists, and stakeholders involved in ensuring the club returns to the African set up.

Oba Odeniran then called the stakeholders to rally round the club and ensure that the optimum speed of success is achieved in the continrnt next year..
