NDC Releases Full List Of Electoral Committee Members For 2027 Nationwide Primaries

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has officially released the full list of members of its Electoral Committees for the conduct of the State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship, and Presidential primaries across the 36 States of the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The list, signed by the National Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, and the National Secretary, Barrister Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, contains the names of chairmen, secretaries, and members appointed to oversee the primaries scheduled for 29 May 2026.

The members are as follows:

SOUTH-EAST ZONE:
ABIA STATE: Chief Asukewe Ikoawaji (Chairman), Chief Sir Innocent Nwadavid, Hon. Udeme Eshiet, Nebo Chukwujiekwu, and Barr. C.J. Okoli Akarika (Secretary).

ANAMBRA STATE: Prof. Osita Ogbu (Chairman), Engr. Uchenna Okogbuo, Nonso Okpala, Barr. Chukwudi Igwe (Secretary), and Miss Hanatu Tanko.

EBONYI STATE: Dr. Peter Onigah (Chairman), Emma Anyanwu, Prince Andrew Godwin, Hon. Sylvester O. Nwankwo, and Chris McCool Nwosu (Secretary).

ENUGU STATE: Chief Teddy Obey (Chairman), Prof. Nky Patrick Obi (Secretary), Ms. Jackie Wayas, Dr. Obinna Simon, and Barr. Maureen Emecheta.

IMO STATE:
Comrade Babatunde Ali (Chairman), Obumneke Inoma, Obinna Anyaibe, Mr. Judith Uche, and Barr. Chigbo Enwezor (Secretary).

SOUTH-SOUTH ZONE:
AKWA IBOM STATE: Dr. Clement Agiangie (Chairman), Chief Able Ebifemowei (Secretary), Uduakobong Okon, Dr. Pabara Igwele, and Barr. Obinna John Kennedy.

BAYELSA STATE: Engr. Biokpo Awara (Chairman), Dr. Morakinyo Balogun (Secretary), Barr. Grace Analaba, and Hon. Princess Ingo Iwowari.

CROSS RIVER STATE: Iliya Kwajafa (Chairman), Hon. Ernest Eki, Margarita Oguoba, Hon. Nicholas Ayuwa, and Austin Mbagwu (Secretary).

DELTA STATE: Dr. Kebiru Umoru (Chairman), Barr. Tesufa Dumbo (Secretary), Mr. Richman Ndakwe, Keneke P. Moses, and Genevieve Emeremgini.

EDO STATE: Barr. Fredrick Owotorufa (Chairman), Dr. Stanley Boroh (Secretary), Celestine Iyere, Mary Ainoghena Eghieye, and Jackson Agbor PhD.

RIVERS STATE: Dr. Osusu Osusu (Chairman), Dr. Anthony Okoye (Secretary), Peli Adotu, Eva Nma Alikor, and Abduljalal Idris.

SOUTH-WEST ZONE:
EKITI STATE: Akinlade Olagoke (Chairman), Falade-Fad Tayo (Secretary), Babalola Ibrahim, Pastor Fayose Adeniran, Aduloju Joke.

LAGOS STATE: Alhaji Sidi Abdul Bomi (Chairman), Allison Oghenekaro Okoro (Secretary), Hon. Sandra Ogoh, Dr. Adewale Adebayo, Amb. Christopher Ighodaro, Mr. John Ughulu, Cleopas Ebi David.

OGUN STATE: Barr. Ojeh Jimmy (Chairman), Alhaji Waidi Alapoti (Secretary), Mrs. Rose Igwe, Mr. Phillip Abegunde, and Alh. Morufu Olajide.

ONDO STATE: Hon. Babatunde Daodu (Chairman), Rev. Emmanuel Alli (Secretary), Princess (Barr.) J.T. Eperetun, and Udeze Chigozie.

OSUN STATE: Hon. Oladejo Yinka (Chairman), Mr. Popoola Ganiu (Secretary), and Mrs. Ajayi Esther.

OYO STATE: Comrade Adeolu Adewuyi (Chairman), Mr. Kayode Joseph (Secretary), and Mrs. Feyikemi Adesiyan.

NORTH-CENTRAL ZONE:
BENUE STATE: Jenkins Gwede (Chairman), Pastor Gabriel Akor, Sesugh Nyam (Secretary), Doofan Ortsergh Mary, and Ishaku Dahiru.

KOGI STATE: CP Ezebuike Peter (Rtd) (Chairman), Samari Muhammed Zakari, Samuel Abu (Secretary), and Samson Ukolofu.

KWARA STATE: Barr. Michael Bamidele Sijuade (Chairman), Idowu Israel Legbo, and Mrs. Hamzat Bola Idayat.

NASARAWA STATE: Dr. Okey Ezeala (Chairman), Mr. Tony S. Jude, Yamusa Ladi Lizzy, Vijah Opuama, and Idiemjo Gift Omeghara (Secretary).

NIGER STATE: Hon. Richard Adams (Chairman), Kabiru Ardo Muazu Esq. (Secretary), Abdulmuminin Ohiare Abdulsalam, Blessing Akan, and Danladi Abdulhamid.

PLATEAU STATE: Dr. Pabara Igwele (Chairman), Abdulkadir Fema (Secretary), Hon. Steve Dachomo, Barr. Dabish Caleb, and Dr. Mary Dalyop Zang.

FCT: Chief Barnabas J. Ejisi (Chairman), Barr. Ajayi Ilesanmi (Secretary), Zakari Attah, Victoria Nkechi Odogwu, and Dr. Praya Miri.

NORTH-EAST ZONE:
GOMBE STATE: Nura Abdulrazak (Chairman), Alhaji Adamu Idi Magaji (Secretary), Engr. Aliyu Hamidu, Barr. Dinge Ellon, and Mrs. Sylvia Mayo.

TARABA STATE: Barr. Umar Hassan (Chairman), Hassan Hamidu (Secretary), Abubakar Garba, and Gayus Musa.

YOBE STATE: Alhaji Mohammed Sawa (Chairman), Joshua Tsu (Secretary), Abubakar Garba, and Usman Isah Dogara.

ADAMAWA STATE: Williams Lappi (Chairman), Barr. Yominbe Comfort Jonathan, Sunday Unaru, and Umar Ardo (Secretary).

BAUCHI STATE: Mr. Ande Karma (Chairman), DSP Rose Sylvanus, Mr. Iratisi Nuhu, and Barr. Joel John (Secretary).

BORNO STATE: Comrade Mustafa Ali (Chairman), Barr. Musa Usman Daya (Secretary), and Zainab Yunus.

NORTH-WEST ZONE:
JIGAWA STATE: Tasiu Safiyanu Liman (Chairman), Ibrahim Abubakar (Secretary), and Hajiya Yar Gumel.

KADUNA STATE: Balarabe Ayuba (Chairman), Alex Ankuma (Secretary), and Barr. Barnabas John.

KANO STATE: Mainasara Sani Abubakar (Chairman), Barr. Reuben Egwuaba (Secretary), Dr. Ahmed Alhasaan, Engr. Salisu Tanko Kwankwaso, and Saidu Alhassan Maiduguri.

KATSINA STATE: Suleiman Aliyu Baba (Chairman), Dr. Ahmad Alhassan (Secretary), Dr. Ahmad Maaruf, and Abubakar Abdullahi Rimi.

KEBBI STATE: Saidu Jalo Bakuwai (Chairman), Fauziyya Muhammed Marafa (Secretary), and Mohammed Anas Abubakar.

SOKOTO STATE: Bello Labaran Gwadabawa (Chairman), Sa’adu Bello (Secretary), Balkisu Abubakar, and Attahiru Fodio.

ZAMFARA STATE: Bashar Muhammed Marafa (Chairman), Barr. Sani Nasarawa (Secretary), Kashim Al Mustafa, Nasiru Bello Alkali, and Alh. Tijani Jibril.

The NDC leadership reaffirmed its commitment to transparent, peaceful, and credible primaries and urged all aspirants, delegates, and party faithful to cooperate fully with the committees throughout the exercise.
