…Plans Big For Participants

With about six weeks to the kick off the 2024/2025 Federation’s Cup, the Imo State Football Association, Imo FA, is turbo charged to make history with an effective organisation this season.

According to the state FA Media, in the history of the Imo State Football Association, this year recorded the highest number of teams with 22 teams involved.

This year’s competition has additional colours of sponsored packages being rolled out for the participating teams.

The Imo State FA, led by Barr Ifeanyi Dike, who is excited by the development, has commenced intensive arrangements to have a fruitful fiesta.

Apart from working for the provision of a level playing ground for all teams, the Imo FA has started making notifications to the state government and other stakeholders about the commencement of the Federation Cup in January 2024, with a view to having a memorable show.

Mouth watering packages are being worked out under a sponsorship package where the eventual representatives of the state will have strong backing of the state government.

The Imo FA says it has provided a conducive environment for all for football to thrive hence it recorded massive registration for the coming FA Cup adding that qualifiers that would represent the state for male and female versions of the Federation’s Cup shall receive the support of the Imo FA and State Government.

Speaking during a brief emergency meeting of the Board Members at the FA Office, Owerri, Barr Dike enjoined all football stakeholders to support the state FA for the best in terms of organization of football in the state.
