Still relishing their well deserved draw against Insurance FC in Benin last Saturday, Enyimba’s Assistant Captain, Somiari Alalibo says they will go for all maximum points against Gombe United on Wednesday.

The goal scoring centre back while EE reacting to Enyimba media on how prepared the league champions are for the match day 21 encounter in Aba against the Savanh Scorpions, Alalibo said they are in high spirit with optimism of having a good game.

“It’s going to be a good game and I must confess we’re ready for this game.

“Last time In benin we picked up a pint on the road but we’re hungry for the 3 points and I am optimistic we would get it”, Somiari Alalibo expressed.

Meanwhile, Coach Finidi George has reiterated that his team will hope to maintain its home consistency when they take Gombe United on Wednesday.

“We know how consistent we are at home, we would build on our result against 3SC, anything short of victory will not be a good result after having the point away from home in Benin.

“But football being what it’s is, you never know what’s going to happen next but we would give our our all to ensure we get the maximum points.

The People’s Elephant takes one Gombe United this Wednesday at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba in a reverse fixture of the 9-time league champion’s season opener which they lost 2-0 in Gombe.

The Aba Giants will hope to get the better of their counterparts not just to avange the first leg loss but to consolidate their quest for continental return as the league enters it’s business end.
