The Nigeria National League has confirmed that the most important league has entered into partnership with Global TV to broadcast some of the league matches live.

Confirming this in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer of the League Emmanuel Attah expressed happiness on the partnership saying that it will further expose the league players to the world.

“We are happy with the broadcast partnership. It is a welcome development, which will be beneficial to our players. The MOU will be signed soonest, and as a test run, they are taking our Star match of the week live, the match is between City FC and Sporting Supreme FC in Abuja”.

Attah who was the former Coordinator of the Super Eagles said the match would be watched on Star time channel 276,

With this development virtually all the three professional leagues in the country (men and women) are now on television.

It would be noted that the NPFL recently signed a deal with Startimes while the Nkechi Obi led women’s League is on Afro Sports TV.

The NNL season which enters Week 4 this weekend has been running with a lot of applauds coming from stakeholders who believe the nation’s “Most Important League” is now living up to its billings.
