Enyimba FC Management Sympathizes With Sunshine Stars Over Armed Robbery Attack

The management of Enyimba Football Club has expressed sympathy to players and officials of Sunshine Stars Football Club involved in an incident of armed robbery attack.

The team was attacked by robbers on their way to Benin City to honour their match against Bendel Insurance billed for the weekend.

According to a release by the media team of the Aba warlords, the Kanu Nwankwo led management described the ugly incidences of armed robbery attacks on football teams as an obnoxious act of violence which has taken a deep toll on the entire Nigerian football community.

“We all at Enyimba FC expresses deep concern about the unfortunate incident that occurred at the Ore-Benin Expressway to Sunshine Stars of Akure”

“This obnoxious act of violence has not only impacted on Sunshine stars of Akure but it has also taken a deep toll on the entire Nigerian Football community”,

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Sunshine Stars as we pray for a speedy recovery”,
