The captain of the West African Representatives at the maiden African Football League Enyimba FC, Ojo Olorunleke has said that the team will not dwell on excuses.

Ojo who spoke during the pre match press conference in Morocco said the team is mentally prepared for the second leg quarter finals encounter against Wydad Casablanca and will not yield to distractions.

The team which he said is in positive spirit has put behind the home loss and focused on the task ahead today.

He said though the team faced a lot of challenges traveling to Morocco, that will not be a reason for poor performance.

“We have played them in Nigeria and of course we lost. As a team and professionals, we have put that behind us. We are also here to play and to win”,

“We are very positive coming here. They came to Nigeria and did it. We are here to do our own”,

“Though we faced a lot of challenges before getting here, as professionals we don’t have to complain though we know it will speak out”,

“We are ready and we have spoken to ourselves. As players we just have to put whatever happened behind. We just have to face it and remain focused on the task ahead which is coming here to give our all and see that we win”,

“We are not dwelling on the challenges that we had. It is one of those things. It is not anybody’s making. It happens”,

“So we would not see that as an excuse not to give our all in the game. I am very positive that we will not leave here empty handed”, he said.
