Match Day 3 NPFL Victory: Enyimba Boss, Kanu Appreciates Aba Fans Over Support

Excited at the teams first points and victory in this seasons NPFL, Chairman of “The People’s Elephant”, Kanu Papilo Nwankwo has appreciated the teaming fans of the Aba Landlords.

Reacting to Enyimba Media shortly after the victory against Akwa United in the NPFL match day 3 encounters, the Arsenal Legend expressed his delight with the amount of support the team has been getting irrespective of the mixed results the team has been getting.

While commending the players and the technical crew for warming the heart of the fans with the win, the former Super Eagles captain maintained that as league champions that his management will continue to do all that is required to take the club to greater heights especially as the take part in the maiden African Football League AFL, with it’s first game coming up in Uyo this weekend.

He urged the fans not to relent in their massive support for the club, insisting that his ambition is to make Enyimba the biggest in Africa.

“Am delighted with the boys victory today and I must thank Aba fans for their Unwavering Support since we came on board.

“It has never been in doubt what this boys can do but for the near misses and which has been broken with the win.

“Let me use these medium to congratulate the players, technical crew and the management team for their efforts and most importantly to the fans in Aba and beyond, a big thank you for their undying support.

“With this result, am very expectant that more will follow as we strive to make the Enyimba the best.
