The Main Organizing Committee of the National Sports Festival has announced a change in the date of the sports fiesta.

In a letter addressed to Commissioners of sports and Directors of sports across the country, Delta state government requests for a shift in the date of the event scheduled earlier to hold from 2nd to 15th November, 2022.

According to the letter signed by the MOC Secretary, Mr Peter Nelson, the National Sports Festival will now hold from 28th November to 10th December, 2022.

The postponement is expected to give the host state more time to complete some facilities for the festival.
