While acknowledging that Enyimba and their fans would have loved to play the AFL game in Aba, Papilo as he is fondly called noted that they have already made Uyo their next home ground.
He pointed out that the most important thing is to have a good team that can put up a good performance. Observing that with the recent performance of the team in their league games especially against Akwa United that they can get the job done against the Moroccans and make Nigeria proud.
“This is football and we know they have good players but we also have very good players. We know and respect what they have achieved and they also respect Enyimba, so it’s all about who dose well in the field of play can win the game, so let’s see what is going to happen today.
“If you ask any Enyimba fan they will tell you that they are not happy we are playing away from home but playing in Uyo, we must and have made it our home. Talking about playing in at away from your home ground, what’s important is having a good team who can go there and put up a good defence and get the result and so far we are happy with the players we have.
“We always cherish the fans for their support so far and i want to thank them once more for the massive support last Sunday against Akwa United, it was a good job they did but this is the bigger one and we need them to do even it even more bigger. I will say to them where you are, if you can’t make it to Uyo, keep praying for us and for those who can, we need them to keep supporting with a great voice before, during and after the game and definitely the boys will do us proud”.
