Ahead of the inaugural edition of NPFL Super Cup slated for Lagos in the early part of December, 2022, Rangers International F.C, Sunday, received in audience one of the legends of the game, Chief Christian Chukwu, who came to pray for the team and wish them the best of luck in the tournament.

The Septuagenarian charged the players to be at their best during the tourney and come back with the prize money.

Chairman, as the former senior national team handler is known for, informed the players that Rangers was the best side amongst the four teams invited for the tournament.

“With the qualities that I see here, I have no doubt that you shall emerge champions of the Super Cup. I pray that you have an injury free tournament and wish you the best of luck against your opponents,” stated Chukwu.

Speaking at the very brief event, technical adviser of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Abdul Maikaba thanked the legend for the visit and good wishes promising that the team will do all in its power to be crowned champions of the preseason tournament.
