Insurance FC of Benin and Doma United of Gombe have both gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League from the NNL.
According to CKD media report, Doma United defeated their closest rivals, Jigawa Golden Stars 2-0 to establish an eight-point lead at the top of the table.
They also wrapped up Group A2 to pick the Northern Conference’s sole promotion ticket with two games to spare.
On the other hand, Insurance of Benin confirmed their promotion to the top league following Vandrezzer FC’s 3-1 defeat of second-placed Gateway United in their game in Lagos.
With two promotion tickets already secured, two more are up for grabs from the NNL to the NPFL.
