The candidate of Zenith Labour Party(ZLP) for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in 2023 elections, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, has sent a message of congratulations to the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe(NOCEN) Dr. Ifeyinwa Osegbo, as she turns 60 today.
Medical Director, Princeton Specialist Hospital and Orthopaedic Center Awka says he joins lecturers, staff and students of NOCEN, family and friends of the academic doctor of mathematics and provost in celebrating the landmark age.
Dr Nwachukwu describes Dr. Osegbo as an epitome of hard work, managerial and administrative competence who serves undoubtedly as a pacesetter, source of inspiration and support to many, especially the younger generations.
The renowned surgeon says Dr. Osegbo is a scholar of high repute whose enormous contributions to the education sector over the years have impacted positively on the intellectual development and total well-being of millions.
He said that the level of patriotism and commitment displayed by the Rector in the course of doing her job upon assumption of office in April 2018 have immensely contributed to national development.
The ZLP candidate said that the Umunya-born academician milestone in Anambra State’s citadel of learning which prepares future teachers, lecturers, instructors and hones the teaching skills of those already in academic realm, and unprecedented positive change she has brought to the College and the education sector in general, is eminently noteworthy and a bastion which has placed the institution atop its contemporaries.
The House Of Representatives hopeful pray God Almighty to grant Dr. Osegbo long life with good health to further fire her interest in serving Anambra State and the Nigeria nation at large.
