Following recent spate of not too  impressive results, the players of Enyimba FC have apologized to their fans assuring to turn things around for good.

The apology became necessary after their goalless draw and poor outing against Sunshine Stars FC of Akure in an NPFL rescheduled match day 13 Encounter decided at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba on Wednesday which ended 0-0

Reacting to Enyimba Media at the Owerri Airport, Imo State enroute Lagos ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup group D match day 3 encounter against Black Bulls FC of Mozambique, club’s Assistant Captain, Paschal Eze who spoke on behalf of the players pleaded with their fans to try and be patient with them, promising that they will work harder for better results

“I want to on behalf of my colleagues sincerely apologize to our darling fans over the unsavory results.

“We are indeed pained that the results have not been going our way in our recent games and i can assure them that we would put in more efforts to turn this around for good.

He noted that the players are deeply worried by the spate of poor results and have resolved to put in more efforts with view of making the club and supporters proud and happy again.

Eze recalled that in times like this, they need the full support of the fans and all in the club insisting that the trial times will soon be over and the People’s Elephant will certainly return to winning ways.

The team on Thursday departed Aba for Owerri Airport and to Lagos ahead of their trip to Maputo, Mozambique for their 3rd group game in this seasons CAF Confederation Cup against Black Bulls FC on Sunday.
