The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu, has charged Enyimba FC to victory ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup clash against Zamalek of Egypt on Sunday.

Engineer Emetu gave the charge when he received the Sporting Director of Enyimba FC, who paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Government House, Umuahia.

“I charge you to go out there and make Abia State and Nigeria proud,” Engineer Emetu said. “You have the talent, the skill, and the determination. I have no doubt that you will emerge victorious on Sunday.”

Engineer Emetu also assured the team of the state government’s support, saying that they will do everything possible to ensure their success.

Enyimba FC comes into the match against Zamalek on the back of a 2-0 loss to AlMasry of Egypt in their previous CAF Confederations Cup match.

The match between Enyimba FC and Zamalek of Egypt is scheduled to take place on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
