Nnamdi Azikiwe University is set to host the 113th Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

The lecture will be delivered by Prof. George Uchenna Eleje, a Professor of Feto-Maternal Medicine and Evidence-Based Medicine in the Department of Obstetric and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Eleje’s lecture is titled *From Research to Reality: Improving Women’s Health Outcomes Through Evidence-Based Medicine.*

The event will take place at the University Auditorium, at 1:00 pm.

Given Prof. Eleje’s expertise in Feto-Maternal Medicine and Evidence-Based Medicine, his lecture would shed light on advancements in women’s health care, particularly in areas like maternal health, which is a significant concern in Nigeria.

Evidence-based medicine is crucial for improving healthcare outcomes, and discussions in this lecture might highlight best practices and research findings applicable to the Nigerian context.

The university community is invited to this inaugural lecture which is a notable event in the academic calendar of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, as it provides insights into cutting-edge research and its practical applications.
