As the Nigeria Handball community looks to the future, it is imperative that a leader who embodies the values of innovation, dedication and global connectivity be elected.

In Mr. Jibril Ojih Saidu, Secretary General of the Commonwealth Handball Association, and esteemed Board Member of the Nigeria Handball Federation, the Handball fraternity has a candidate who exemplifies these qualities.

With a proven track record of driving Handball development and promoting excellence, the Kogi State-born brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

As Secretary General of the Commonwealth Handball Association, Mr. Jibril has successfully fostered international partnerships, spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives, and elevated the profile of handball across the Commonwealth nations.

As a Board Member representing the North Central Zone in the Nigeria Handball Federation, Jibril has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the Sport’s nuances and challenges.

He has worked tirelessly to implement innovative strategies, develop infrastructure, nurture talent, and enhance the overall competitiveness of Nigeria’s Handball teams.

One of Mr. Jibril’s most significant strengths lies in his ability to leverage global connections to benefit Nigeria’s handball community.

Through his extensive network, he can facilitate partnerships with international organisations, attract top-level coaching and training expertise, and secure valuable resources to support the country’s athletes and clubs.

Under his leadership, the Nigeria Handball Federation can expect a new era of dynamism, creativity, and forward-thinking.

Now retired from the Civil Service following decades of excellent and meritorious service to the nation and humanity, the erstwhile handball player is committed to harnessing the power of handball to promote social cohesion, empower youth, and inspire a new generation of athletes that will light the world with awesome achievements and feats.

By electing Mr. Jibril Ojih Saidu as President of the Nigeria Handball Federation, Nigeria and Nigerians can be confident that the sport will thrive, both domestically and internationally, as he has the vision, expertise, and passion to drive handball excellence, and take the nation’s teams to new and greater heights.

It’s time for every member of the Handball family to unite behind a leader who has the experience, global perspective, and innovative spirit to propel the sport forward.

A vote for Jibril Ojih Saidu is a vote to embark on a journey to handball greatness, not only in Nigeria, but around the world.
