…..Cruise Into Round Of 32

In a dominant display of skill and strategy, Ijele SC left Lautau United in the dust, securing a resounding 8-1 victory in the President Federation Cup round of 64 game played today.

Hat trick Hero, Chiedozie Ogbodo

The match played at Area 3 Stadium, Abuja saw Ijele unleash a relentless onslaught of attacks marshalled by Alex Izunna leaving Lautau United struggling to keep up.

With key players Chiedozie Ogbodo scoring a hat trick, Alex Izunna and Michael Suru scoring two goals each with Emmanuel Ogbodo contributing one goal, Ijele Sports Club demonstrated their prowess on the field, outmaneuvering and outscoring their opponents at every turn.

The first half ended 2-0 with the Jigawa side hoping to come back better but their one goal in the second half seemed to have drawn the ire of the rampaging Ijele who rammed in six more goals.

Emmanuel Ogbodo joined his brother in the attack and got one goal to conclude the routing

Ijele Sports Club will now meet President Cup regular, Nasarawa United in the round of 32.
