The Head Coach of NNL debutantes Ijele FC, Mr Fesojaye Tajudeen says his team has put behind the 2-2 home draw recorded in their league opener against Inter Lagos at home on Saturday.

According to him, the team has shifted focus to the next game coming up this weekend in Ogbomosho against Crown FC.

Coach Tajudeen said that though the team did not plan for a draw at home, his boys gave a good account of themselves against the Lagosians.

“Actually, our league opener result is not a good one as we did not plan for a draw. But we still have to give glory to God that we did not lose because the game of football is all about win and lose. So for the fact that we put up a spirited effort, we did not lose, we give glory to God. We see the flops, we work on it and do better next time”,

” I don’t want to dwell on the already played game. We have another game at hand to prepare for and that is our focus now”,

” Inter Lagos are an experienced side that is why we did not take it easy with them as well, we came at them tooth for tooth. But our next opponent is another NNL old name with history”,

“So, we are Ijele and we are moving forward running with the positives of each experience and working on the lessons learnt”,

“My plan is to clinch the league. So moving forward I intend to regard each game one after the other. This one is over, we look at the mistakes we made in this match and we have to train and buckle up so that we will be able to get it better in the next game”, he said.
