Despite their spirited efforts, the Ghana Black Stars’ ended their away game against Angola at 1-1 thereby ending their race to Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

The Black Stars needed to win their remaining two matches of Angola and Niger Republic. Having failed to pull through against Angola, the Monday match against Niger Republic has turned into a dead rubber

The calculations before the game was for them to defeat Angola then strive to win against Niger Republic and hope that Sudan loses to Angola on Monday

Jordan Ayew’s beautiful free kick in the 18th minute gave Ghana the lead which they held on till the second half.

Angola through Ambrosini António Cabaça Salvador, known professionally as Zini levelled up in the 64th minute

For the first time in twenty years, the Black Stars will be absent in the Africa Cup of Nations
