……..Hails People-Oriented Programs, Others Embarked By Tinubu

By Uzoh Mike

Youths working under the aiges of the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), have expressed support to the vote of confidence passed by the Council Of State on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. They said the President who has spent

just one year and 3 months in office, has performed credibly well.

They also hailed the COS members, insisting that they have indeed spoken the mind of Nigerians.

A statement signed by the President General of

CONYL, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, made available to newsmen in Awka, Anambra state, yesterday, stated that Nigerian youths are on the same page with the position taken by the Council of State and unanimously passed a Vote of confidence on Tinubu led administration.

The group added that Tinubu had embarked on people oriented policies and programmes which is already yielding positive fruits for the advancement and development of the country.

CONYL said, “It is worthy to note that the so called protest by some persons was a well calculated attempt by some disgruntled elements to cause unrest and disturbances in the policy but their game failed on arrival.

“In a genuine protest, government and personal property are not meant to be damaged or destroyed,…but a lot of properties and goods belonging to hardworking Nigerians were destroyed and looted. Definitely that is not protest.

“Some of the so called protesters where seen carrying and waving the flags of Republic of Russia which is an insurrection and an act of treason against the nation.

“Other criminal activities took place all in the name of protest. Nigeria is of age and has come a long way to know what is good and bad. Our eminent Nigerians are well vast, knowledgeable, experienced and educated to know when a leader has performed credibly well”.

According to Ibem, President Tinubu has performed creditably well and the Council of State have spoken the mind of Nigerians.

Recall that CONYL is the umbrella body of all the youth groups from across the six geopolitical zones.
