Enyimba Mgt Visits Tijani Babangida, Offers Gesture Of Unity

King Kanu Nwankwo, Chairman of Enyimba FC “FIFA Ambassador”, was recently accompanied by the club’s enigmatic Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme among others to the residence of the esteemed ex-international, Tijani Babangida over his loss.

Following the news of his brother’s passing which had cast a shadow over the football community, prompting gestures of solidarity and support, the management team of the NPFL defending champions paid him a condolence visit.

Upon arriving at the Babangida household, Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Ekwueme were greeted by a solemn atmosphere. They approached the door with heavy hearts, knowing the pain that awaited inside. With a gentle knock, they were welcomed into the warmth of the family’s embrace.

Inside, memories lingered in every corner, mingling with the scent of incense and the sound of softly spoken condolences. Tijani Babangida, once a titan on the football field, now stood humbled by grief, surrounded by loved ones offering comfort in their own quiet ways.

Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Ekwueme approached with reverence, their presence a testament to the unity of the football fraternity in times of sorrow. With firm handshakes and compassionate gazes, they expressed their heartfelt condolences to Tijani and his family. Words seemed inadequate in the face of such loss, but their presence spoke volumes of solidarity and support.

In the midst of shared sorrow, stories were exchanged, laughter mingled with tears, and the bonds of brotherhood were reaffirmed. Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Ekwueme listened intently to tales of camaraderie and triumph, offering solace in shared memories of a life well-lived.

Kanu on behalf of Enyimba promised to always support him and his family in any little way they can going forward.

Before bidding farewell, Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Ekwueme offered tokens of remembrance, a gesture to honor the memory of Tijani’s brother and the legacy he left behind. With gratitude and grace, the Babangida family accepted their offerings, finding solace in the kindness of friends and strangers alike.

Recall that Tijani Babangida was team mates of Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Ekwueme in the Super Eagles and he also played professional football for Ajax of Amsterdam were Kanu Nwankwo made exploits winning laurels before moving to Inter Milan.
