The Organizing Committee of the Unity Preseason Cup have concluded arrangements to unveil the participating teams in the tournament which is meant for the NLO Division One clubs in the North Central zone of the country.

Confirming this in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the tournament, Mr Patrick Ngwaogu said various teams in the North Central zone have signified interest to participate in the tournament which would run from 24th February to 4 March 2024.

Coach Ngwaogu said the draws of the tournament which is organised in collaboration with the representative of North Central in the NLO Board , Barrister Babatunde Akintade, will hold on the 10 February 2024.

“We have teams from Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau and FCT. We are narrowing down the interest to a manageable number, because of the facilities at our disposal. As we earlier announced, Gwagwalada is hosting the tournament, and all is set to give the participating teams the best of tournament”.

Mr Ngwaogu who was the former Sporting Director of Abia Warriors FC said the draws will be streamlined live to ensure transparency in the organisation.
