The Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rangers International F.C, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku has assured the national executive and members of Rangers Supporters Club that the club’ management under his guide will have a mutually beneficial partnership that will result in taking the ‘Flying Antelopes’ to the pinnacle of club football in the country and beyond.
Barr. Ezeaku made this revelation when the national executive of the supporters’ club led by the national chairman, Dr. Iloakazi Uchenna and other stakeholders paid a courtesy call on the management of the club at its corporate head office, recently.
The young club administrator, while reacting to the presentation of the national chairman, thanked the supporters for their diligence and full support to the team in good and trying times while challenging the supporters club to rise up to the reason they were set up, stressing.
“Supporters club are recognized by the world football ruling body, FIFA, and I am very happy with all you have been doing to throw your weights behind the team every time we are playing a game. However, I challenge you to find a way to become self-sustaining and achieve much for yourselves as a group while we promise to have a mutually beneficial partnership that we all shall be proud of when it’s time for stock taking.”
Speaking earlier, the national chairman of Rangers Supporters Club, Dr. Iloakazi congratulated the new G.M/CEO of Rangers on his successful completion of studies to earn a UEFA and FIFA certificates in football club management and subsequent appointment by Enugu state government to head the management of Rangers describing him as a square peg in a square hole, emphasizing.
“We came to welcome you back from your studies and congratulate you on your new appointment and also to assure you that the supporters club would throw its weight behind your regime for us to achieve together.”
On the entourage were two former national chairmen; Barrister Chika Nzelu and Achinike Daniel as well as Okereke Amobi, Oledika Mike, Livinus Eleje, Emeka Ugwu and Eneh Romanus.
