The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Anambra State, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has promised to prioritize inclusive leadership and collective responsibility in his administration.
He made the pledge during a Press briefing held at Radisson Hotel, Awka on Wednesday where he shared with the media his observations during a thank you visit to the 21 local government areas of the state which was concluded last Sunday
He emphasized the need for a functional and prosperous system that thrives on shared responsibility, rather than individual ambitions.
Prince Ukachukwu stressed the importance of involving all stakeholders, particularly Ndi Anambra, in decision-making processes to develop a clear and inclusive path forward for the state.
He highlighted the need for collective effort to create an environment that attracts business and investment, citing examples of successful economies like Dubai and Taiwan.
He said that such will move the state from its current state of obscurity to light and have the state celebrate worthwhile achievements.
The APC flag bearer emphasized that security and power are foundational to Anambra’s economic success and that his administration would prioritize these areas.
He also stressed the importance of empowering citizens, particularly youth and the less-privileged, to contribute to the state’s development.
Ukachukwu assured that his critique of the current government is constructive and aimed at fostering dialogue for the betterment of Anambra State. He pledged to run his government on shared responsibilities if elected, prioritizing the needs and well-being of all citizens
According to him, he consider the incumbent governor a friend and brother but his aim is to address critical issues that will drive the state’s development that is lacking ,not to engage in petty criticisms.
