NSF: Rivers Admin. Director, Wokoma Commends Team Rivers Impressive Performance

The Director of Administration in Rivers State ministry of sports, Mrs Ibiwari Wokoma, has commended Team Rivers contingent on their impressive performance so far.

She stated that hopefully Team Rivers would finish at the podium as athletes are doing tremendously well in their various sporting events.

Mrs Wokoma said this at the weekend at MKO Abiola Stadium Ogun State where the 22nd National Sports Festival (NSF) is holding.

The Director further lauded the good conduct of Team Rivers saying that every good sportsman and woman must behave well no matter the circumstances.

“I want say that Team Rivers is doing tremendously well, as I speak they have won over 27 gold medals. I am optimistic that team will finish at the podium.

“I also thank the administrator of the State Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas (retired) for the provision of adequate welfare and words of encouragement, these have gone a long way to motivate the athletes.

“In all if God is not on our side we wouldn’t have achieve all these, so I want to return all the glory to Him”, Mrs Wokoma said.
