Newly wedded couples and others have been enjoined to see marriage as an institution that thrives on love, respect and loyalty.

The advice was given by the Arch Bishop of Jesus is Alive Praise Carnival Okpaliko Village Eziowelle, Dr. Onyekachukwu Joseph Nzekwesi during a wedding ceremony.

According to him, respect, loyalty, care, love, submission, transparency, are the keys in maintaining good marriage relationships which will give room for marriage to be enjoyed and not endured.

He used the occasion to admonish Christians to love one another unconditionally, with value and respect , irrespective of where one comes from adding that churches should be a place where moral values are inculcated to people as it was in the time of the old.

The bishop encouraged people, especially the youth, to turn to God and abandon criminal activities urging them to avoid actions that could tarnish their family’s reputation and harm society.

He Emphasized the importance of divine blessings, noting that true wealth and good things come from God, not through illicit means. Sharing his personal testimony, the bishop revealed that he dedicated his life to Jesus at a young age, despite coming from a wealthy background.

Bishop Nzekwesi commended the governor of Anambra state, Prof. Charles Soludo in his giant strides to transform the state and align with the centre despite not being a member of the ruling party APC.

He extolled the governor in his efforts to ensure good security network for the state.
