The acting Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu on Friday, 22nd November 2024 joined a host of mourners to pay a final respect to the late Senator (Dr.) Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah when he visited the family.

Prof. Ikechebelu expressed sadness over the demise of Senator Ubah, noting that his passing is a big loss not just to Nnamdi Azikiwe University but the State and country at large.

Prof. Ikechebelu said: “Senator Ubah’s immense contributions to society were boundless, we will forever remember him for his generosity and vision. The Acting Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the management, staff and students of the institution extended his heartfelt condolences to Ubah’s family, friends, and associates while praying to the Almighty to grant them the strength to bear the irreparable loss and also the repose of his soul.
